"American Vampires" is a action-horror-comedy that was written and directed by a Grand Junction native, and produced in conjunction with the local digital filmmaking program at CMU Tech.
The small crew was made up almost entirely of CMU Tech faculty and staff, turning the set into a classroom as students honed their skills, learned from professionals, and crafted a movie that can serve as their calling cards as they enter the film industry.
AMERICAN VAMPIRES seeks a World Screamiere!
With post production completed in early August 2026, the film now looks to ride the festival circuit and travel on a theatrical tour. This film is a crowd pleaser, best experienced with the energy you can only get at a movie theater.
A packed house attended a local test screening on August 14th, 2026 and blew the doors off the building. The laughs, the screams, and the cheers will never be forgotten by those in attendance.
